Service Description
Join us at Art & Connection for our Northern Lights Night Sky workshop, where you will learn acrylic painting techniques, led by the talented Tena Evans. During this class, you will learn to paint one of nature's most mesmerizing natural phenomenons - the Northern Lights, or aurora borealis. Using a variety of vibrant acrylic paint colors, you will learn how to brush blend colors together directly on your painting surface. After you create a simple layer of colors in the sky, Tena will teach you how to add a silhouette of a tree skyline using a small round or fan brush. Finish your piece with a clear varnish that will add the perfect amount of shine to your art piece, bringing out the vibrancy of your color selection. This class requires some knowledge of painting techniques. If you have taken one of Tena's painting classes previously, this may be just the class for you. Learn how to build on your previous painting techniques and achieve a level of artistry that you never imagined possible! Ages 16+

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
