Join instructor Tena Evans for our Light House & Pussy Willows workshop, where you will learn the basic building blocks of acrylic painting, all while connecting with your classmates in an open and encouraging environment. In this class you will learn the basic building blocks of all artwork, including line, shape, color, space, and texture. Understanding these elements is essential for students to create effective compositions, all while focusing on techniques and procedures. As a way to deepen your connection to your art piece, as well as your fellow classmates, come prepared to discuss some of your favorites memories of springtime as a child, teenager, or adult! With the opportunity to share these unique and memorable stories throughout the beginning, middle, and end of the class, as well as a chance to show off your finished masterpiece, it is our hope that you will leave feeling fulfilled and with a deep understanding of the elements of art and the principles of design! Ages 16+ Please note: This is an intermediate level acrylic painting class. Previous painting experience is preferred, but not required. Class participants may bring a snack or lunch with them to class.
