Step into a world where your imagination bursts with color in our Home Tweet Home: Garden Sign workshop, led by the talented Tena Evans! In this hands-on acrylic painting class, students will explore the vibrant, versatile medium that artists love for its bold pigments, quick drying time, and endless creative possibilities. Whether class participants are picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine their skills, Tena will teach techniques for base coating, floating, blending, and layering. Students will bring their own ideas to life with color selection and the use of stencils for added interest and texture. At the end of the workshop, Tena will encourage class participants to share their personal feelings about the experience, and any thoughts or hesitations they may have overcome in learning acrylic painting techniques. Leave not only with a beautiful, colorful garden sign that is as unique as you are, but also acrylic painting skills that you can use again and again! Ages 16+ This is an introductory level painting workshop - no previous painting experience is required. Class participants may bring a snack or lunch with them to the class. Dimensions of the garden sign measure approximately 7"x21".

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
