[EVENING CLASS] Use driftwood and natural elements to make a unique wall hanging

Service Description
Join instructor Michele Scott for a fun evening of repurposing natural elements in our Driftwood Decor workshop. Select from a variety of sizes of wooden wall signs, and learn how to create a whitewash or stain effect to give your sign a natural look. Take elements found in nature such as driftwood, rocks, and moss and bring them to life in a village or coastal scene. Add color with acrylic paint to bring vibrancy to your sign. Unleash your creativity and create a scene that is as detailed or simple as you desire! Class participants are encouraged to bring their own driftwood and any natural elements they would like to incorporate into their design - remember, the fun is in the hunt! Enjoy time this summer combing your favorite beach for the perfect pieces of driftwood. Ages 16+ Limited quantities of driftwood will be available for class participants who do not bring their own. Art & Connection will have a wide variety of stones, moss, sea glass and broken crockery that class participants can use to enhance their design, should they choose.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
