[2 PART CLASS] Have fun learning wood burning techniques and create a vibrant custom step stool

Service Description
Step into fun at Art & Connection in this two day wood burning workshop. On day 1, you will sketch and layout your design, and then learn how to use wood burning tools to burn your design on a natural wooden stool. Day 2 will focus on bringing your art to life by utilizing vibrant acrylic paint colors to enhance your design. The final step of this workshop will be to seal your stool with a varnish to bring out the color and natural wood grain of your stool. Leave with a basic understanding of wood burning and acrylic painting techniques, and a step stool that you can use both practically and for decor in your home! Age 16+ You must be able to attend both sessions to register for this class. Class participants should bring photos for inspiration. A variety of stencils will also be provided to aid in your design. Step stool dimensions are 12.6 x 8.7 x 7.1 inches.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
