Explore the ancient art of Japanese calligraphy at Art & Connection in our Artistic Hand of the Rising Sun workshop, led by new instructor Misaeng Suh. Unleash your creativity and discover the beauty of writing with three distinct character styles: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Learn to write your name in Hiragana using Sumi ink, and delve into the spiritual meanings behind the sounds and letters of your name. Enhance your piece of art and calligraphy skills with beautiful acrylic paints, and leave with a unique piece of art to treasure or share with your friends and family. Ages 16+

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
